Honestly, Cobra’s said it before and I’ll paraphrase:

“I don’t care about what you do with your dick. If you’re an adult, whatever, it’s not my business. Don’t touch kids. Don’t touch animals.”

He’s pretty consistent with that and if we’re digging to the heart of the issue, ultimately Cobra just wants to care and help. Sometimes he thinks that’s ranting on YouTube for people to absorb his “sage” wisdom but where it really matters is when he brings homeless dudes who are fucked up into his house for some KFC and a cup of booze. Sometimes people want to a-log the little boglim and give him a hard time because he’s said some fucked up stuff and, look, nobody here’s going to deny that’s happened but really, he just does the best he can every day. Some days, that’s whacking off and listening to bells and some days that’s trying to help his weird friend. You can’t win ‘em all.

I know why they’re in those discords, it’s for the same people like me and you aren’t.

We have things in our lives that are important enough to occupy much of our time. We don’t need to play fucking “gay survivor” in one of these discords where people leak chat logs and form secret alliances and share pictures of buttholes. All people like me and you have to spare is 10 minutes a day to fire off some mental garbage in a thread on the Farms and then it’s back to work.

Every time one of these discord guys gets outed they are always some welfare bum or some guy/gal who’s fallen on some hard times. If that’s the case, my heart goes out to you, man. I hope you turn things around but that’s not gunna happen in a Discord group for a retard man.

People wage slave and see a retard who has no concept of independent adult living brag about others being losers everyday gets to some people. The giant list of "why Josh is a bad person" that was compiled on the old subreddit caused mob mentality. He no doubt has done some shitty things without remorse then goes online and gets on his Cobra Cult tactical soapbox while raking in the dough.

But in the end, Josh is meek and talks a big game from his chair. Especially anymore, he doesn't need any help in inflicting harm upon him. Yet there's still people who want to "beat his head in" (recent comment on The Boglim) and a bunch of equally smooth brains using their real names and other traceable data on the Facebook group speaking aggressively--both a-logging and just generally violent.

The general advice has always been - if you feel yourself getting mad at Josh, take a break from watching him.

I think that the problem that many A-logs face relates to breaking what I consider one of the cardinal rules of observing lolcows: Never compare yourself to the cow.

I often see comments on lolcow content along the lines of: "I have autism, and I'm not this bad!" or "[Cow] is [# age] here. When I was that age, I [insert normal human things or mundane accomplishments]." Or even "Whenever I feel bad about my life, I watch [cow] and realize that my life isn't so bad."

For even semi-normal people, such comparisons are meaningless because they set the bar incredibly low. I don't care what else is going on in your life or what hurdles you've had to overcome, of COURSE you are doing better than a literal retard.

Where it gets dangerous are the times when people compare themselves to lolcows and find themselves becoming jealous.
Maybe somebody's struggling to make ends meet while working a shit job. That person would LOVE to Doordash a simple dinner but doesn't because it's a very expensive way to get food. Then that person sees Cobes ordering some stupid 60-topping pizza that he "allows to cool" for three days and becomes envious. They see him get things that he wants that they themselves can't have and develop negative feelings toward him and lash out.

It's natural to be empathetic -- to wonder: "How would I respond if placed in this person's situation?" but I advise everyone to resist that urge when it comes to lolcows. Nothing good can come of it.
