Rutgers is as left as you'd expect a state university in New Jersey to be, but there's limits to that, and when you have a Republican legislature breathing down your throat and looking for any possible excuse to cut your budget, a flagrantly gibberingly incompetent "professor of Beyonce studies" who threatens to murder people is the last thing you want coming up at your budget discussions.

Especially when as an adjunct he's easy as fuck to get rid of. Oh also he's FUCKING A WHITE MALE.

It's a shame that enabling his next performance art piece, Politicizing Unemployment, will allow them to stymie calls for axe murdering the careers of his peers, who likely have similar worth. Much like Joy Karega, he will go away, and everyone will pretend they were just abnormalities.

So either:
-He spergs about a bunch of irrelevant shit only Tumblrinas care about and everyone else laughs at him.
-He actually has important dirt on Rutgers (Doubtful) and we get to laugh at an entire college for allowing this complete jackass in the first place.

Pretty easily because academia when in comes to non-STEM tracks embraces ever more "progressive" viewpoints. If you don't want to sleep at night, you can realize that these are the people that populate teacher's college and will indoctrinate your children before they even hit post-secondary schools.

This. I had a friend at university who was doing a masters in Political Science. He basically told me his course was a crock of pseudointellectual shite because the only way to get high marks at anything or to do well at anything was to worship and flatter the people teaching it and never disagree with them whatever, and this went for all sociology / political science / X studies course. Basically, nobody who breaks the circlejerk passes, and original thought is looked at with disdain unless it's expanding on what the Powers That Be have already decided.
