He owns Robo-Robotnik, too, yes? So presumably, he "owns" every Sonic in the multiverse, because that issue is an homage to Crisis on Infinite Earths. That means, if Sonic wears any attire and isn't naked, he "belongs" to Ken? F*cking loony.

Not really a unique observation, but Penders would be far more palatable as a lolcow if he didn’t sperg out about politics constantly. Him copyrighting his Sonic OCs and thinking that there would be a big demand for them with all the Sonic connections stripped away is funny. Like so many others on this site, his contempt for his fellow man really shows when he’s tweeting about political issues and it’s very frustrating. Dumb motherfuckers like Penders think that their incessant online braying is what is keeping this country from falling by the fourth Reich, as if all Poland needed was Twitter back then. Possession of a Twitter account makes people think that every thought they have is worth being shared.

His political sperging goes back to 2016 and attacked a fan named zealous yes that’s their Twitter name look it up over their choice of candidate being Jill stein that one was just a WTF moment out of many from him
plus it came around the same time as the kavanugh hearing as a “dark day” yeah fuck him and it doesn’t help he does Jack shit for research into news stories about certain political subjects. I think I mentioned this before or last year that he was in favor of repealing civil rights in California and thank god it didn’t pass. I think he got radicalized by Twitter and the news stories he reads

Forgive me if this has been mentioned already but Ken did at least one issue of the 1980s Captain Atom series and I'm still astonished several days after finding out about it. This is rcdart levels of backsliding. Mans went from perfectly serviceable Golden Age homage style to.. unspeakable atrocity.

Ken seem to be completely oblivious or is willfully ignoring the fact that when IPs and characters are locked behind some petty asshole's copyright claim, then that's where spiritual successors step in.
As an example of this: Konami one day decided that they were no longer in the video game business and that all their IPs were better served as skins for Pachinko machines, all the while firing and shitting on the legacy of the original creators. One of those franchises that was near and dear to fans was Castlevania and effectively the franchise was dead as far as Konami was concerned. Then something interesting happened, one of the creators of Castlevania; Koji Igarashi parted ways from the company and since he could no longer use "Castlevania" he made his own brand new IP: "Bloodstained". Did fans lament that the Castlevania name was now gone? HELL NO! The community embraced the spiritual successor with open arms and wallets ( The $500.000 Kickstarter was fully funded within the first 4 hours.) Even if Konami had offered to play nice and "license" the Castlevania brand to Igarashi, the most likely outcome was for them to be told by Igarashi and the fans to fuck off.
The point I'm making is this: It doesn't matter how many characters Ken holds, nor whatever sentimental attachment (ever few) fans may have for them, if need be, new characters can be created to be the spiritual successors and fill the roles void by the ones Ken owns. If for whatever reason the people now in charge of Sonic needed similar characters, they could create ones better written and designed than those Ken made and there is nothing he could do about it. The Sonic fandom will in a heartbeat embrace spiritual successors characters if it means giving Ken Penders the middle finger.

Every time I see a picture of Sonic with a crown I die a little inside. What the fuck were they thinking? Out of all the characters Sonic is the least likely to want to rule, he's a free spirit, he's got no time for that bullshit. It just reminds of all those shitty OCs where it's basically X character but with Y gimmick or Z prop. It's honestly baffling that that was ever approved.
