He is not addicted to work. He 'works' about 40 hours a week including prestreams and still spends a shitload of time watching tv and drinking gin. Hes just selfish. Also in mountains of credit cars and homeloan debt, he cant take time off

- she can only share time on his streams if she faces people teasing her BECAUSE she dates him;

- she has (possibly at his request) stopped all her online presence; or at very least heavily reduced them (ie YouTube; streaming; Twitter; Facebook etc);

- they will "go out" in society as a couple maybe 1x a week - and maybe one dinner out (I imagine the conversation is electric) - and maybe on alert for dangerous detractors who may see them;

I can actually think of a reason she might legit be there.

Some people, particularly damaged ones from bad homes, can have a need to "help" or "fix" someone.

I've been thinking lately the only way Phil's recent begging needs make any sense and Catherine is barely able to help with bills such that faced with a $16K tax bill she is only able to help a little bit more is if she is legit taking home between $1,500 to $2,000 after taxes per month. At most I would guess she's giving Phil under $700 a month with this recent 'she's able to help out a little more with bills' shit, if that's even actually happening. There's no way she would fork over more than half her income to Phil even if shit hit the fan.

That is actually a good point. I assume though they have people who work a night shift and do stuff after the store closes like stock shelves and clean and shit like that? We get mixed info from Dark on when she gets off from work, I think he tried to say midnight but i think he also said she was just getting home at like 10:30pm his time.

Target and Walmart are def possibilities. I think Walmart is most likely though. I would imagine Dark would avoid talking about shopping where she actually works as much as possible. It could be they shop at Walmart all the tiem but he purposely lies and makes it sound like he doesnt really go there to avoid making it obvious that is where she works.

I guess McDonalds is also a good possibility. It has to be a national chain, but its definetly retail or a restaurant to be working late at night. I mean sure there are some other edge case jobs that are national and have night hours but lets be honest, what we know of Kat, she works at McDonalds or Walmart for sure.

People always assume that a store closing at x hour means everyone working there leaves at x hour. Retail always has weird-ass rules where the people 'closing' have to see the last people out, walk all the aisles to make sure nobody OD'd by the Pet Food, have 3 people walking out with the person that counted the cash, etc. When I worked retail you could always count on working 45-60 minutes after close, which means an 8:30 (11:30 PST) close gets her home around 1 AM Phil Time.

My money's still on the gig economy. Uber-Kat driving couples and families to Christmas Parties and Friendsgivings, happy friends 'forcing' her to listen to the same 10 Jingle Bell songs over and over again, before walking past the one string of Christmas Lights and collapsing on the Goutch just long enough for Phil to waddle down and ask why she hasn't thrown his Hungry Man into the microwave yet.

This could be my autism but I am pretty sure she works at Starbucks because they work super early and super late. Plus, they work holidays and they get new schedules every week. My source to all this is that I worked at Starbucks and Kats work schedule is just like Starbucks.
