Culture Karmas a bitch: kathy griffin cancer - Good for that ugly bitch

Un funny "comic" bitch once seen holding a severed bloody trump head had surgery to have a tumor removed. Lucky for us her days of rampant libtardation are numbered

I may have been hasty in my initial post.

Good that she got treatment. Good that the doctors have a positive outlook.

I don't understand why this is news. I find it kind of appalling that she's using this as a way to garner sympathy and attention for herself once again.

I haven't watched the interview or anything, but from that article it doesn't feel like she's trying to promote getting checked or anything, just basically trying to get attention. Maybe I'm wrong and it's just a bad article, but it would certainly fit her.

I heard that she's already had the tumor removed?

So with chemotherapy and radiation treatments, her odds are pretty good.

But not 100%. The odds are never 100%. She'll have a 5/10 year prognosis, which is the chance she's still alive in that many years. How sure they are they got it all, killed any traces with the poisons and radiation. For the next few years, she'll get screened probably every six months, to make sure it hasn't come back. Then once a year, probably for the rest of her life.

You can survive cancer, with luck and treatment. You never beat it. The spectre of it never lets you go.

There's nothing funny about cancer. It's not karma. It's not fair. It's not justified. It's just fucking awful.
Gotta agree with that one. Karma is when you get raped by the muslims you pushed so hard to accept in your country. Cancer isn't Karma, it happens to the best of people who never deserved anything like it.

The only "karma" I could see here is that she's been an awful person and she's now suffering something awful. Even so, Cancer is still horrifying even for her.

Put me firmly in the "I don't wish cancer on anyone" camp.
Agreed. According to current year its alright if its someone with opposing political opinions though.

She was cute and funny when younger but goddamn does hate ugly up a body.
Yeah, its radical. Just look at Greer with his Swift rage, or Don Lemon pre and post trump.

A decent thread idea would be examples of people who have been excessively hateful and aged terribly.

No.

Cancer. Fucking. Sucks. It's waiting, and horror, and misery, and being stripped of basic dignities. It's your body betraying you at a level you can't see, only live with... As long as you can. If you can. It's your family, sitting by and watching you fade and pray for a clean death that you know isn't going to come. It's your family being messed up when you're gone, because you miss them, but also you're glad they're finally not suffering anymore. It's knowing that even if you beat it, you've never completely escaped it... It's always there, in the shadows. Every year, you have to get screened for it, and all the horror and uncertainty crawls back out of the closet until you get the good news and you can relax for a few more months. It's having to live with knowing every time you say "Next time I see you," it might be an empty promise. That everything you want to do next year, might never come. On some level it's true for everyone, but when cancer is involved, you can't push that into the closet and forget about it anymore. It's always there.

I lost one parent to it. Watched them die slow and awful. I nearly lost the other parent to it, and they have never been the same since. I have to live with the genetic Sword of Damocles over my head, too, because one of them has a genetic component.

There's nothing funny about cancer. It's not karma. It's not fair. It's not justified. It's just fucking awful.
Why is it so hard to accept that cancer is acting out of benevolence this one time?

I feel sorry for the tumour. Its come down with a malignant Kathy Griffin.

(Former cancer patient myself, so save the moralising bullshit).

She's a shitty person but maybe we should pump the brakes on cheering for her death, which is what leftists did for Rush Limbaugh.
She really doesn't seem all that bad.

Her mom was a mega-Republican, who got weirded out by her Trump beheading video, which was really bad timing because her mom died shortly thereafter. So she has a mega grudge against Trump and Republicans imagining they're the reason there was a rift between her and her mother before her death. While the truth is she fucked up, it's hard to not be at least a bit understanding that she may have rationalized things as being quite a bit different so as to avoid accepting she may have caused the rift between her and her dying mother herself.

All is a bit sad to me.

If Kathy Griffin effects you so much that you wish death on her, you're a sad, pathetic person who is falling for exactly what she wants.

I, for one, hope that she makes a speedy recovery so I can laugh at her dumb ass for years to come. This is the same woman who is so fucking dumb she pretended to suck off Anderson Cooper live on New Years eve.

If she knew what she was doing and had the cash to back it, she should go abroad and find supplementary treatments (hyperthermic / immunotherapy etc) to try to kill the last cancer cell, which might not be anywhere near the initial tumor.

Otherwise theres eventually a recurrence somewhere, thatl either happen under worse circumstances, at a worse age, or both, which is typically how these people eventually die.
