Guillermo Del Toro has been working on this for a while now, and the script is finally going in for review. The darker side of DC has always been my favorite area of comics, and I have to imagine that Del Toro is the perfect director for characters like Swamp Thing and Deadman.

I'd stick with Matt Ryan. Tying DC's movies into their tv shows is probably a good thing for universe-building. Swamp Thing, Deadman, and Zatanna are interesting roles to try and cast, though. I've got no ideas there.

I think by far Deadman is gonna be the hardest one to cast... I can think of a lot of jokester actors but that thick Brooklyn accent is tricky.

Part of me wonders and hopes if maybe they're going to try and at the very least mention an aspect of the Sandman mythos. God knows it needs an adaptation and Del Toro and Neil Gaiman are friends. Who isn't Neil's friend, though?

A post-credits scene with Death appearing would make for the biggest nerd-out since Nick Fury popped up at the end of Iron Man.

Movies would be good but I always wanted Sandman adapted into an HBO series. It's able to do it the most justice with something like that... But really anything would work.

He takes any role offered to him. HBO could get him too. I really don't even think he gets paid half the time...
