Somewhat removed from the fed stuff, but my personal hypothesis is that ring wing protests need a leader, a fuhrer, if you will. Because right leaning Americans are demoralized and confused without a headman leading them. Sheep need a Shepherd(and that's not using sheep derogatorily).
The Left and the Media made much hay of the fact that Trump was more or less deified by his base, and in the end he was not worthy of the love and honor bestowed on him. But someone needs to be, a symbiosis between leader and lead.
A leader must command, and must be obeyed, but in return he brings comfort, hope, stability, and energy to his people, and in return they worship him, further enhancing his confidence, charisma, and his will, and so on in a self reinforcing cycle.
TLDR: Right wing politics work as symbiosis between the leader and the followers. Without a leader worth deifying(either performatively or otherwise), such movements falter. So these sorts of protests are ineffectual, just as a body can’t survive without a head.
The System now will make sure no such person has a connection with his people as Trump did via Twitter.
That said, the J6 prisoners are suffering terribly, mostly because they stuck their middle fingers in the eye of the System, even if the System wasn't hurt, it got the message and so it responded.

I'm only getting some light chuckles out of the pipebomb situation, the part where the fed got busted by riot police for having a gun, and the memes. The rest is like watching paint dry.
This is gonna sound

In edgy Washington, police outnumber Jan. 6 protesters at Capitol
In a city still on edge after the Jan. 6 insurrection, law enforcement bore down in large numbers on the Capitol on Saturday over concerns that a rally in support of the jailed rioters would turn violent. It didn’t.
The crowd was sparse and incidents were few. The only clear parallels to the riots more than eight months ago by supporters of Donald Trump were the false claims put forth by the rally organizers about the violence that January day when Congress met to certify the election of Joe Biden.
The low turnout also called into question whether such rallies will have any staying power as the organizers attempt to tap into the rage of Jan. 6 without the presence of the former president.
Law enforcement had prepared for a confrontation by erecting temporary fencing around the Capitol and deploying heavy dump trucks to ring the rally site. Local police departments and the U.S. National Guard were on standby.
The security might have been unnecessary in the end, but the volatility around the lie that the 2020 election was stolen and the presence of extremists and white nationalist groups on Jan. 6 have made it impossible to predict how such events will go.
U.S. Capitol Police said they received intelligence information leading up to the weekend that was similar to what was missed in January, when law enforcement was only expecting a free speech protest and Trump supporters violently stormed the Capitol.
Republican lawmakers, including those who had voted that day to challenge Biden’s election, avoided Saturday’s rally. Rally organizer Matt Braynard took elected officials to task for not backing up those now in jail and introduced candidates who are running for elected office.
Counterprotesters stood by and jeered. Some held anti-Trump signs and one man who had confronted some of the pro-Trump protesters was quickly removed by police, who used bicycles to shield him from the crowd as they escorted him down the street.
One person was arrested in the crowd for carrying a knife and a second man was arrested after someone reported to officers that they saw him carrying what appeared to be a handgun, police said. Two other people who police say were wanted in Texas – for a firearms charge and probation violation – were also arrested after being pulled over near the Capitol Saturday morning.
Braynard, a former Trump campaign staffer, opened in calm and deliberate tones. He said the event was for the defendants held behind bars.
On Jan.6, dozens of law enforcement officers were left bloodied and and beaten as the crowd of pro-Trump rioters, some armed with pipes, bats and bear spray, charged into the Capitol, quickly overrunning the overwhelmed police force. One officer was beaten and shocked with a stun gun repeatedly until he had a heart attack; another was foaming at the mouth and screaming for help as rioters crushed him between two doors and bashed him in the head with his own weapon.
The Associated Press reviewed hundreds of court and jail records for the Capitol riot defendants to uncover how many were being detained and found roughly 63 held in federal custody awaiting trial or sentencing hearings.
At least 30 are jailed in Washington. The rest are locked up in facilities across the country. They have said they are being treated unfairly, and one defendant said he was beaten.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has set standards for judges to apply in deciding whether to jail a Capitol riot defendant. A three-judge panel of the appeals court ruled in March that rioters accused of assaulting officers, breaking through windows, doors and barricades, or playing leadership roles in the attack were in “a different category of dangerousness” than those who merely cheered on the violence or entered the building after it was breached.
Among the rally speakers was the girlfriend of Jonathan Mellis, who was seen on camera on Jan. 6 using a stick to attack officers who were outside the Capitol trying to hold back the mob, authorities said.
Mellis was heard saying “knock their masks off,” and video shows him repeatedly striking and stabbing at officers with the stick, according to court documents. Authorities said in court documents that he appeared to be trying to hit the officers’ necks between their helmets and body-armor, where they had no protection.
Other defendants ordered locked up while they await trial include a man accused of dragging a police officer down steps to be beaten by an American flag and another man accused of leading a group of rioters up the Capitol steps to confront officers.
But judges have released the vast majority of the defendants, including more than a dozen members and associates of the Oath Keepers, a far-right group, who are charged in perhaps the most serious case brought so far in the attack. Only three people charged in the Oath Keepers conspiracy case remain locked up after judges said they appeared to play a leadership role in the alleged conspiracy.
Authorities have said the Oath Keepers prepared in the weeks leading up to Jan. 6 as if they were heading to war, came to Washington ready for violence and dressed that day in battle gear, wearing helmets and tactical vests.

The issue with that is Feds subvert and infiltrate any group or organization presenting a threat to the status quo. The bigger the organization the more infiltrated it gets. It is part demoralization and part deflecting any actual change. After all, if you suspect your party leaders are on the FBI's payroll are you really going to trust them? The whole system works to sow distrust, even if the entire organization is unsubverted. And if you were to form a united front of right wi g groups under your leadership, who is to say the feds won't off you so the unity fractures and everyone splinters off into their own spergatory, or they plant someone on their payroll in charge to subvert the whole party?
I will give a few historic examples. MLK Jr. was regularly watched by the Feds im the 50s and 60s up until his assassination. They wiretaped his phones, had spies within the movement, and even when LBJ was doing his Great Society trash they still hounded him. Then of course he was shot and killed by a lone wolf sniper, though his children all deny the official narrative and believe the Feds were involved. Regardless of your thoughts on the man, he was the face of the Civil Rights movement and effectively became the central figure in it.
On the other end of the spectrum, a far notable and old organization that was once entrenched in American politics, the KKK. I won't go down how it is organized but the various chapters have heads, and the national hierarchy was above it. There is a running joke both the CPUSA and the KKK are majority Feds, and it is true. David Duke himself has ties to certain three letter agencies for example.

The post 3rd version of the KKK is a joke and filled with feds. The original gangster 1st and 2nd versions, well that was before the era of the FBI and before the federal government figured out that the 3 letter agencies were the best workaround to the posse commitatus act in regards to federal law enforcement.
The 1st KKK was destroyed by the Union Army during reconstruction. The 2nd KKK collapsed on itself because of greed, corruption and infighting as well as acting like the Christian moral sharia police that pissed off a lot of common folks who did hate niggers, papists, Italians, fascists, commies and kikes. The 2nd version is probably the closest America has had in the modern era, a large organization dedicated to that whole Christian pure white America shit. The other part is the 19th amendment as soon as women got the right to vote, they abandoned the KKK. Now look at which issues that majority of women vote for these days.
If it wasn't the feds, there is always the greed and corruption that fucks everything up.

At least 10% of the KKK that attacked civil rights demonstrators in the sixties were Federal agents. But the first KKK was a real resistance movement, and was a truly noble cause. The Second One got very big and then collapsed due to corruption and scandal(though it also served a good cause), the KKK of the sixties and fifties seems to me to have been if not entirely a Fed creation, an entity that merely served as a villain for the TV.
Thing is, the KKK was a group that operated locally-everyone from the sheriff, to the town minister, to the mayor, were all members, up to the national level. Probably the closest Anglo-Americans got to their own state within a state in the 20th century(which is why it is so viciously hated and demonized today).

The sad part about this is that it shows that the feds have won. It shows that only one political stripe is allowed to organize and have demonstrations. The worst part is that what this glowop was supposed to be protesting, the gulaging of those who dared make the political class feel the slightest bit of discomfort, is legit one of the most disgusting, infuriating, and anti American things this illegitimate political party has done. It's a bigger society style insult than AOC's tax the rich dress at a $35k society function.

My best hope for this glowop is that since the glowies weren't able to use any boomers to try and hide the intensity of their glow that those who are aware of all this shit and are legit pissed off about it are going to change up tactics in a way that can circumvent glowie subversion long enough to start a legit movement. I don't really think this rally was a victory lap for the glowies but more of the sign that their tactics dont work anymore. I'm pretty sure that some mid level suit for each of the 3 letter agencies are having a panic attack. Pelosi DEMANDED her casus beli for whatever facist legislation her owners and she didn't get it.
