June 11th Tornado Storm System - Touchdown confirmed

There's been a repeating pattern of this meteorologist identifying potential tornadoes but there being no official warnings for the residents. He's been yelling about this needing a warning for like 20 minutes and it only now received a warning. Apparently the tornado has already fully formed before the warning was given.

Edit: it has moved past Schererville and moving north of Merrillville into a densely populated suburb

I'm going to be logging off for tonight, will probably post some aftermath pics tomorrow.

Last little update: several unwarned tornadoes have touched down in Indiana, one of which is west of Indianapolis. It will probably occlude before it hits Indianapolis but it could reform and hit it.

still no warning has been issued for it
The delays in issuing warnings is really disturbing to me tbh.
 
I heard that being AROUND the tip of the tornado is as dangerous since it's debris cycling around at 100+ mph winds. Maybe you'd get sucked alive, then flown like action figures somewhere.
