In other news, there seems to be some new JoJo event coming out in April 2021. Your guess is as good as mine as to what this is about however.

Likely the Part 6 announcement because there has to be a reason they'd be hyping it up and the anime stuff seems to have a bit of a focus with some new key visual art.

Of course take this with a grain of salt but I can believe that is more likely given how long it's been since Part 5 ended.

PHF is great, an anime adaptation would be pretty good. Kadono is the only person I trust JoJo with other than Araki himself, all the other translated JoJo shit written by other people seems to be either really bad or completely misses the point.

I believe for the current jojonium reprints viz actually got permission and are now referred to as oingo and boingo as it should. Sucks that the anime didn't but considering most renames zenyatta mondatta isn't too bad.

Maybe I'm crazy, but JoJo gets a lot of shit because "haha mainstream anime it's gotta be fuckin' terrible". I'd say the same thing happened with MHA, a lot of people were giving it shit without watching it because "mainstream".
And for the record, I liked My Hero until S4. Took too long to come out and it's just so boring and disconnected from the 3rd season.
