hulu, you ok?

JoJo Fridays with my bro off to a great start. This is actually gonna be pretty hilarious since this is the bro's first time watching JoJo as it's airing (apparently 9anime would upload corrected subs when the BDs come out), so he'll get to experience the glorious Crunchyroll subs complete with any derpy TV animation that'll accompany it. Did seem to bat an eye at "Reverb" instead of "Echoes", though, but he's happy seeing his boy Kouichi again.

Super pleased with the Vento Aureo adaptation so far! I like how David Production shifted the focus of the intro from Koichi to Giorno (because, after all, he is our new main character). In the manga, Araki had Koichi narrate the first few chapters and the focus was more on him and Jotaro before permanently switching over to Giorno and his crew. Here though, Giorno is clearly the narrative focus from the beginning.

I also love how based DP employed "show, don't tell" to establish Giorno's character. He noticed that someone stole a lady's wallet and returned it to her... but not before snatching a couple of bills from the wallet. He then used the money he stole to buy ice cream for both himself and a little boy he noticed standing nearby. Right off the bat we know that Giorno is the most morally ambiguous JoJo we've had so far, but he's not really a bad person.
