Idk about Korea, but here in the USA, voluntary intoxication negates any defense regarding insanity or mental issues.

In common-law jurisdictions, voluntary intoxication can be an affirmative defense to specific intent crimes, but not to general intent crimes. So if you get tore up, get in an argument, and shoot someone, then it would be a defense against a theory of premeditated murder, but not a depraved heart, EIVHL, or plain old manslaughter theory.
