Saw it last night with my bro, and it was fucking awesome. I am trying to decide what the best action scene was, and I am legit having difficulty since there were two or three that were easily the best I have seen all year. The story is bonkers, and yet it all makes sense in the context of the world and the lore that is still being laid out. I was surpirsed by the ending, and by the promise of another sequel, but for once in a franchise I was completely okay with it. Can't wait to see where this goes next!

I want a goddamn John Wick GTA, and Wick in MK11.

Just watched it a little earlier today, have to say I enjoyed it a lot better than the second movie actually, the fights are really fun and the story was pretty entertaining too.

That's good to hear, I might try it when it comes to streaming. I watched the series long after the hype, and I thought the first one was an amazing take on doing “Show, don't Tell” for establishing his character. I thought the second, while not bad, was weaker and did more to damage the original in explaining things that were better as mysteries.

Fuck yes! This movie was a blast! This was one of my most anticipated movies of the year, and it did not disappoint me in the slightest. All I'm going to say in terms of the plot is this: If the ending to John Wick 2 made you go "oh my god, I hope they deliver with what follows this great ending," then you will not be disappointed AT ALL.

If I had to rank the John Wick movies, my favorite is still the first one, followed by Parabellum, and then the second one. Keep in mind that this is probably one of the most consistent film trilogies of all time in terms of quality, though. I love ALL three.

Fascinating that they talk how assassins are considered the "faithful" though the High Table are truly faithless and relatively corrupt (obviously). They took his dog, his home, his body [part] and now they want John's soul. Time to take out the Table

I finally got to see it and holy fucking shit, Charon picked up a weapon! The shootout with Halle Barry was really awesome, I appreciated how there were small bits of support thrown in between Keanu and Halle's characters. Everything about this movie is fucking bad ass, fuck.

This thread got me into John Wick. I just finished the first movie, and it was legendary. The OST, the extraordinarily subtle and unique worldbuilding, and the acting were all top-notch. Anyone who calls it "silly shooting" is very wrong. Its usage of shaky cam was even well-done. You see the camera shake when Wick is being especially overwhelmed with rage during his fights, which makes sense.

I also caught the last 45 minutes of JW2 when it was airing on TV, and that portion was also a legend. It had amazing cinematography (that mirror scene!) and action scenes that were excecuted pretty much perfectly.

EDIT: I just watched JW3 in theaters, and it was equally amazing!

These movies need to stop, honestly. Watched it yesterday and I'm pretty disappointed, the third movie is basically a remake of the second.

It's fun but the meme is too forced by this point. And Wick is totally immortal anyway, who the fuck cares about the fights anymore?

saw the Movie a few days ago. the action was great as always and the bold japanese guy was my favorite character of the Movie. still dont like Wick as a character. he just looking for excuse to kill people and people are stupid enough to take the bait.
