That is what they called it when he was taken in at his Drs office on a Wednesday. He was released after 2.5 days on the Friday.

Here is a screenshot of my post from where he had been released and said they arrested and took him in acting on the Baker Act but he misspelled it at the time. This was on November 10 2018.

Bulla's incident is all over the local media outlets. I'm assuming they saw the mugshot and thought it would make good press (Yes, it's epic). It's funny to read the comments by the public because most of them recognize Bulla from the crazy Craigslist roommate ad he posted last year.

As of 11/19 he is pleading NOT GUILTY and there is a motion to appoint an expert for competency evaluation. Good times!

This is going to become a epic sideshow if he is allowed to plead not guilty but sane enough to continue. Can you imagine him in court talking over everyone even his lawyer professing his innocence (sexually), he is Gods only minister and friend...and on and on!
Popcorn is on me especially if he calls someone a demon or tells someone they are going to hell!

Yeah really! His best bet is to be declared insane before the arraignment because his testimony is going to be off the charts. Plus, I'm sure he'll be held in contempt of court at some point of his schizo rant on hating cops and judges.

I'm guessing he'll be sent back to the Florida State Mental Hospital that's near Tallahassee. I remember reading one of his twitter account from around 2016, and he mentioned on there that his sister baker acted him and he went to that hospital for about 2 years. That twitter link is somewhere on this forum.

If Bulla does go to court, I really hope it's recorded. I don't know the logistics behind why and when certain things are recorded, but I think this thread really needs Bulla to be.

I'd love to see this be the trial of the century but the not guilty plea is just pro forma at this stage and will probably end up being nothing.

Do we know if his mother is his legal guardian? If not then he can refuse medical treatment in jail/asylum.

He can refuse and then in Florida they can hold a hearing to force him anyway if it's deemed "appropriate care" for a mentally ill prisoner. It might be interesting if he went straight-thinking for awhile anyway, just to see the difference.

If he pulls a "too crazy to stand trial" motion, they almost always try to treat you enough to get some psych to sign off on you being sane enough to stand trial. You can go back to being batshit later.

Repeat violent offenders don't generally get an outpatient option, so Mr. Bulla could effectively be locked up for life.

Unlikely. He's not that nuts, most of the time. More likely he'll be found guilty of some petty bullshit that is less than what he actually did and do some time, and if lucky, some of that will be mental institution time, and if super lucky, some of it might actually be therapeutically useful enough.

But he'll probably be let out still whacked out of his mind and gimp along until he does something crazy enough to get locked up again.
