Honestly it can be pretty easy for a schizo to trust you if you play into their delusions. He thinks he's the one true prophet, and that he deserves beautiful women, and that demons are after him. If you play into that, he might just believe you.
Keeping the trust of a schizophrenic is a different matter altogether. Even if you have altruistic motives, in the next mood swing the person might "realize" you're a part of The Conspiracy after all.
