Joe Rogan Experience #2219 Donald Trump general

I liked the discussion about the generals in DC being useless buffoons.

Part of the problem with the Current Year cult of “expertise” is that there are TONS of people, especially in the military, who are charlatans with a carefully crafted image. If you just blindly trust these people because they are credentialed experts, you’ll get absolutely fucked over. It makes sense that it happened to Biden in Afghanistan.

One thing about having a war, I mean a REAL existential war and not just faffing around thousands and thousands of miles away, is that these charlatans get purged from your military. I don’t think you will find many of them in Israel, Ukraine, or Russia at the moment. And that’s why these countries will have an enormous edge if there ever is any kind of WWIII scenario.

12 million views in 13 hours. Two hours of that were unlisted. Pretty impressive to be honest. The legacy media would offer their children to moloch for this kind of traction if they hadn't already done so.
Politics, politics, politics, more politics, AND THEN they get into discussing MMA, and both immediately become incredibly passionate about a topic they obviously love. Top tier.
Trump did an interview with the old WWE wrestler Undertaker and they did the same thing but with professional wrestling.

Not seen Harris do this kinda interview.
She's been on Call Her Daddy and did a town hall with Charlamagne. I was wondering why the Trump campaign wasn't doing podcasts in the same way until this dropped. They were smart to do this.

I don't know why each side is just preaching to the choir, though. I had hoped they would try and reach new audiences. Vance IMO comes across as scared of PoC (weird because he's married to one) but he keeps whining about ethnic people. If he'd tried to get on Charlamagne's show and talk to an urban male audience I'd respect that. The weirdest thing about Trump is he has this young running mate who acts like he's 70+, too.

He's just dumb but not retarded, either.
A huge problem with Trump's last admin for me is he surrounded himself with tards, though, and kept having to fire them. Scaramucci called up a journalist, gave him all kinds of Intel and forgot to say he wanted it to stay off the record. There was the Omarosa stuff of her using the White House for wedding pictures (how does she keep finding new victims?) and getting fired by I think a general because she kept trying to not leave even though they'd been trying to fire her.

Trump also let his son in law keep good advisors out of the administration because Jared wanted all the power and attention. So for me, Trump's judgement is not the greatest about advisors. That's a real concern for me.

Lara Trump was just on Charlemagne too

Lara Trump was just on Charlemagne too
Lara's a strange choice for that. One of the principals in the campaign should be talking to him.

Again, I don't really get how they're campaigning because they don't need to target incels they have that demo. They need to target women and urban men. If I was running their campaign I'd want Lara talking to women and Vance talking to youngish men.

People are going to get mad that I called the Rogan audience incels but the guys I know who listen to that are like security guards who dream of bow hunting one day. It's not the successful guys it's the frustrated guys who aspire to something but don't know how to reach it. Trump already has that demo.

Bro Trump's been on a bunch of podcasts lately, Andrew Schultz, Theo Von, even Logan Paul.

Trump did really good. It was a bit rambly but he was able to talk with Rogan for about 3 hours about a whole bunch of topics. His superpower has always been this uncanny ability to stay on brand even when not on script. Probably a legacy of his years in show biz. Highlights for me was how the Nuclear Energy, Americans being fat fucks unfit for military service, and the Political generals in Washington DC being incompetent buffoons.

Rogan is the biggest podcast in the world, they should both do it, and it wasn't just Rogan sucking Trump's cock unlike the propaganda piece Call Me Daddy or whatever retarded degenerate shit that braindead whore podcast is called.

Also, the Harris townhall was fake, pre-determined questions isn't how it's supposed to work.

So for me, Trump's judgement is not the greatest about advisors. That's a real concern for me.
He explained that really well on Rogan, I thought the same thing to a degree but the reality is his hands were tied in a sense. Also, he didn't say this part directly but insinuated it, he had a lack of experience and that isn't the case now.

“the pilot looked better than tom cruise, everybody was good looking. if i made a movie and hired everyone, nobody would believe it” :story:
He was getting kinda gay there for a minute lmfao

There were reports suggesting that while the podcast interview with Trump was ongoing, more “supporters” of Kamala Harris reportedly left in droves after only seeing Beyoncé talk for only just a few subpar minutes.

The entire message from that shit was “my vagina has panic attacks”

Conversely, Trump goes meta on Rogan and explains he had a chart with him because his team thought Rogan would ask him about a thing, etc.

He’s supposedly the liar? Lol. He wants people to know the cards in his hand because he wants credit for how he plays them.

What it was, was he trusted people on the basis of referral.

I don’t know that snakes in the grass were avoidable. You have to start somewhere.

True.

I was nervous going in, just because the dude is almost 80, so the vast majority of life experiences are at risk of “hi fellow kids” from Trump.

He made a reference to a fighter im not sure if he remembered the name of later, but in that moment I was concerned he was going to come off as pretending to know anything about mma just to kiss up to Rogan, and I was relieved that a: when the conversation went back to fighting, he remembered names and Rogan knew what he was talking about, and b: he started asking Rogan questions about it, so he showed he’s still curious and doesn’t actually think he already knows everything

The Beyonce thing really baffled me. Even from a nonpartisan perspective what connection does she have to Texas? Yeah ok she was born there but she seems to mostly live and is far more associated with California if anything. It still would have been silly but couldn't they have gotten some star with deeper roots. Or maybe they just don't have anyone with enough star power who isn't part of the coastal establishment. Compared to Trump's interview with Rogan it really shows how out of touch the Dems are.
