There's still the War Powers Act, where he can "temporarily" deploy troops for an "emergency" and keep them wherever indefinitely by asking for extensions.
And Congress will gladly oblige. Any government proposed action will happen if they use the magic word "emergency".

March 2020 made me realize that there's nothing I love to see more than stock markets turning blood red. Not because I want investors to get fucked or anything but because it's so rare that you really have to just appreciate what you're seeing when it happens in front of your eyes.

I follow some OSINT accounts and they seem to be of the opinion that European nations are going to start evacuating imminently. Will be interesting to see if they're wrong or not.

Bitcoin, Netflix, and Amazon are, for lack of a better term, "lockdown stocks." With the UK basically saying they are "done" with COVID restrictions, I think these stocks are falling because people are predicting that the end is near for the US and other countries as well. Utilities also make sense because people will start to go outside more.
Or it could be because Netflix sucks, but that wouldn't explain Bitcoin.

There are multiple problems with this, the first one simply being that Biden is absolutely hated and getting people to rally behind him is an uphill battle to -start-.

Budapest has been dead since 2014 and the annexation of the Crimea. Usa and UK are as much in blatant violation of that by doing nothing as Russia is for the annexation. UK and USA decided nearly a decade ago that they're not getting involved.
Poland in 2020 wargamed a "near east belligerent" invasion through the Suvalki Gap, a piece of land where Kaliningrad, Lithuania, Poland and Belarus meet.
Blue team was tasked with holding aggressors east of the Vistula for 22 days, falling back in two stages from border to the r. Narew and then the r. Bug, a period it was assumed it would take to get NATO armour deployed.
Instead, red team were at the Vistula by day 3, encircling the capital Warsaw in day 4 and had completed the destruction of 80% of materiel and personnel by day 5.
In other words, Poland is fucked in a hot war. I doubt it'll come to that though.
Turkey is interesting not because I think they'll end up in a shooting war with Russia but because they're at the forefront of spreading drone tech. They were getting the short shrift from USA on the tech so decided to build their own and they're doing a decent job of it. It was Turkish and Israeli drones that won Nagarno-Kharabakh for Azerbaijan recently and while the more high tech drones, loitering kamikazes and swarms etc, were Israeli the Turkish have similar options available.
Oh and they're building a factory to make them with the Ukrainians in kyiv. Ukrainian engines, Turkish electronics and weapon systems apparently

Except it kinda isn't.
Or more specifically, war with a major power isn't.
Now, war in the middle-east against a bunch of goatfuckers? Excellent. The difference in tech and manpower is so great you can keep that going indefinitely without any serious loss... well, besides a few dead soldiers but that isn't a concern.
Against someone else with comparable technology though? That's a recipe for burning money.
