Biden is facing criticism from the Chinese media after making a public apology for the US withdrawing from the Paris Accords during Trump’s presidency at the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow.

On the opening day of this summit, Biden said: “‘I guess I shouldn’t apologize, but I do apologize for the fact the United States, in the last administration, pulled out of the Paris Accords and put us sort of behind the eight ball a little bit.”


This speech caused the Chinese media to mock him, calling Biden “hypocritical and powerless”.

In an op-ed for a Chinese state-owned publication, the Global Times, the author described Biden’s speech at the summit as “bringing US political infighting to the global arena”.

The article continues to take heavy jabs at Biden, saying, “if there is anything that Biden did bring to Europe, it must be a massive 85-car and gas-guzzling motorcade. Other than that, Biden can only make empty promises at COP26. His apology does not make any sense, as he has no plan to fulfill his promises and no guarantee to make sure that his commitment won’t be toppled by the next administration. Worse, he cannot even win enough support from his own party to get a green light for his plan.”

It is estimated that 2 million pounds of carbon dioxide were released into the atmosphere in this trip alone. I guess Joe isn’t that passionate about climate after all.

In the same piece, an associate professor at Beijing International Studies University, Xu Liang, is quoted saying, “Biden’s remarks remind me of the scene when Democratic lawmakers got down on their knees for George Floyd, whose death sparked the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as Biden’s face-to-face apology to France for the US’ ‘clumsy’ Australian submarine deal. Those cases show that the declining US is trapped in a predicament where the best option is to apologize. If the US still has teeth, it will definitely not become that humble.”

While Biden may have hoped to make an impact at COP26, all he managed to do was take a nap, prompt some laughter from Chinese media, and show how hypocritical he really can be.

After introducing the president at the signing ceremony for healthcare reform legislation at the White House today, Biden turned and embraced his boss while excitedly whispering into Obama's ear: "This is a big fucking deal!" Loudly enough to be picked up by the cameras and microphones in the East Room. Fox News was the first to pick up on Biden's blooper, and repeatedly ran the clip (above). Biden can clearly be heard saying the phrase around the nine-second mark.

President Joe Biden’s most recent appointee for the position of Massachusetts US attorney, who was narrowly confirmed with Vice President Kamala Harris casting the deciding vote, was caught on video in a racist tirade.

Suffolk Country District Attorney Rachael Rollins, who now leads the US Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts, was seen in a resurfaced video going off on a reporter and making comments about a “white woman,” The Daily Mail reported.

On Wednesday she made history as the first black woman to be confirmed in the role by the Senate when Vice President Harris broke a 50-50 tie along party lines.

But in footage recorded by Boston 25 News 11 months prior, Rollins angrily threatens a news team with legal action, accuses them of endangering her children for asking for an interview near her home, and brings up the race of the other driver involved in the Boston parking lot dustup.

In a series of tweets following her foul-mouthed exchange with the news crew, Rollins claimed that she had been accosted by a ‘masked white man’ who jumped out of his truck and removed something ‘large & dark’ from the trunk, leaving her and her children feeling ‘terrified,’ she wrote.

Rollins has a history of making public statements invoking race, railing against police brutality, and expressing support for Black Lives Matter protesters.

A Boston 25 reporter was attempting to confront Rollins regarding an incident on which it was alleged that she angrily confronted a woman outside of a shopping center, but Rollins was furious.

“So as a Black woman, in this moment in this country, you’re going to put my f—ing house on screen?” she said to the reporter, but Rollins house was never shown.

“No, no, no, ma’am, we’re just here approaching you to ask you a question,” the reporter said.

“Get away from my family. Speak to me at my job. If I get hurt or harmed because of this, you are on the record for that, or my kids are f—ing killed,” the DA said to the reporter. “Who do you think you are? This is private property. Get out of here!”
