Honestly I think the legal posturing towards the end is him trying to intimidate other content creators so they won't cover this, for fear of being sued. Karl and Mutahar probably already have lawyers and won't be intimidated (though they may still decide it's not worth it to keep following the story). Considering Mutahar is already making a response, my guess it that the contradictions are way too apparent for any of The Completionist's threats of a lawsuit to matter. It also helps that at the end of the day that The Completionist still commited charity fraud, no matter how much he tries to convince people watching otherwise.

I don't believe Jirad even for a second here with this apology/Response. It just reeks of a very corporate response with giving very vague responses and deflecting things like the golf stuff as clerical errors. He's definitely had lawyers have him read a script with how hollow it sounds. Overall, I wouldn't give Jirad the benefit of the doubt unless, An audit from the IRS happens and comes back empty Handed on any wrong doing. Regardless, I wouldn't advise anyone to donate anymore money to them. As, they can't even seem to manage a nonprofit organization very well.

He is on record saying that the money had been donated when it is now a known fact that the money wasn't donated and he knew this. Why would he lie about donating the money? Considering Canada and Australia are friendly with the US, it's not an impossible lawsuit. The issue is enforcement and finding a court that would allow such jurisdictional reach. Legal paperwork would almost definitely tie up the entire thing for years, costing Jirard a lot of money convincing a court that they need to care.
