All periods in internet history have that one part of the prevailing culture that's just fucked, the old edgelord phase had that sort of trolling behavior who didn't really think twice about who or why they were trolling. Story time; I’ve met this fucker a few times before and not only is he every bit as creepy as you’d imagine, the amount of people who knew what he was doing and hid it is unbelievable.

When I was off doing blotto things I met a producer who worked with blood on the dance floor, this was back when they were relevant. He wanted to work with me on other blotto things and gave me a location. But before I walked away he said “make sure you bring a friend, you know, ‘moral support’.” It was weird but shrugged it off and invited a 50 year old female friend to come with.

Show up at the place and doing the things, and producer gets a call, swears and leaves the room. Comes back and tells us someone is going to stop by, and something along the lines of “it won’t take long, but just hang out here, don’t be alone with him”, Turns out to be Dahvie and his manager, after talking to producer he comes up and chats with me. Within 5 minutes he was saying really creepy sexual shit, laugh it off, he walks to friend and starts hitting on her and saying the same kind of stuff. Manager and producer are still standing a few feet away acting like nothing is happening.

A few days later he followed me on a social media platform. Dm’s me, goes straight into more creepy sexual stuff, like really aggressively. I’ll see if I still have that account and can find everything too. It’s not entirely unsurprising because a lot of band dudes are creeps. More grossed out by the people who were acting like nothing happened, so can confirm plenty of people were hiding this shit. Ran into him a few more times, every single interaction was like this. Grade A creep.

I have a bit of inside/behind-the-scenes knowledge of what's going on there and they've already got victims of Dahvie who are very keen to speak to Chris on his YouTube show.

Not clear when it'll happen, just yet - the Producer said they'll be breaking the story "very soon".
