(I did not read the whole thread so apologies if this sentiment has been said before)
The fact that Jenffer is from Yukon fascinates me and really adds something to this artist. Like most people, I know little about Yukon, but its position on a world map tells much. The closest comparison I have is driving through Alaska, where unlike the mix of urban and suburban areas of where I've lived all my life, the towns are charmingly quaint in their relative plainness and functionality, and right outside towns is the massive frontier, in the truest sense of the word. In some ways, Jenffer lives isolated in her own world, physically and creatively. This world is not in a narcissistic sense, but an artistic sense, with images created with the simplest digital tools, and videos overlaid with music. The artistic output I initially dismissed as repetitive I've come to reevaluate as unique in style, dynamic, and experimental (I like the most her work utilizing repeating patterns and imagery of physical objects).
