Ah it's about time. YT has been pussyfooting around dealing with Jay for ages. I really thought that faking his girlfriend's death would have been the nail in the coffin, but better late than never.
Honestly, I don't even care much about what TOS rule he violated to cause this. I'm just glad to see him gone one way or the other; it's one less screeching, trash-tier YouTuber on the site.

I agree. This is something you see all of the time in Hollywood, organized religions, politics, and beyond. I don't know what else to call it other than "public sacrifice." Basically, to cover for a big problem, you take someone involved and make them the face of the scandal, then metaphorically execute them.
Hollywood's like, hey, we have a raping children problem that people are trying to expose constantly, so let's sacrifice Harvey Weinstein to cover for the rest of us. Normies who have never heard of the sexual deviancy among the elite will be shocked to learn of what this powerful man did, but they'll be glad he's being held accountable and the problem's being fixed. Or the rich people/celebrities paying their brats into Ivy League schools scandal. They made that one bitch (think her name was Felicity?) the face of the scandal 'cause she was a has-been nobody. Obviously, she's not the only person who ever did this. Of course rich assholes pay their kids into nice schools and jobs even. Everyone who isn't a retard knows this.
People like black-and-white. People like to have a clear villain to every story because it's easier to digest and to resolve. YouTube's doing this with JayStation. YouTube has soooooo many abhorrent creators and content that they're sheltering, whilst unfair censorship abounds. They target whoever the populace develops a hate-boner for to distract from the bigger problems at hand.
That's not to say I'm not amused, though. I'm totally enjoying the distraction tactic here, just like everyone else contributing to the thread. JayStation wouldn't have been in my top ten of YouTubers I'd like to see get nuked, but whatever. I'm watching.
