Theo made a good observation, I think during BLOPS4 . Phil got asked a question, then immediately shouts "No" and proceeds to agree with the guy.

Notice how he refuses to put the slightest effort into learning any sort of lore or plot, but the SECOND someone shows up and isn't immediately up on the Holy Gout Bible of Phil Approved Narrative he throws a massive crap attack.
 
I was just amazed (not really I guess) at how adamant he was that he wasn't playing any of the non-numerical games. They've all came out for the PS4! They recently came out in 1 package ("The Story So Far"). It's not like people were asking him to bust out the old handheld systems.

Oh him explaining to comfort the most stupid ones in his audience would actually be a quite nice move, on an autistic scale.
No, he's probably really proud he figured out something on his own without asking the chat. This shows his advanced knowledge of man made geography, unlike in geography class in Bully. The hint: "Tokyo, Japan". No shit, one of the biggest and famous cities, known by otakus and gamers, the city where literally any Japanese movie takes place, is located in one of the most famous countries of the world. That's a really impressive knowledge bomb.

Hey, he has something halfway intelligent to say instead of staring numb and dumb at the screen. At least give him that achievement. He loves achievements that took absolutely zero effort.

surprised he didn't end that line with something racist about the japenese, and LOL FRISKO MORE LIKE GAYVILLE AMIRIGHT!!?
 
I'm not sure how much he really enjoyed games in the first place, but most of the time he could at least pretend to stay awake and be entertained until recently. The only times he really says anything now are when he rages. Not surprised that a cutscene and plot-heavy game like KH3 got this kind of treatment from him.
