Cool Guys who are working to help victims of childhood rape should, in my opinion, have better and more important things to do than spend hours yelling at and trying to drum up their followers to report mentally unwell people on the internet who shouldn't be taken seriously. It undercuts all the "good" things they are trying to do.

To be fair I think when you're an outsider and you come across someone like Jace, you don't have the knowledge already that he's just a mentally unstable guy who shouldn't be taken seriously. It's easy for us to sit here and shake our heads at people for taking Jace seriously because we know he's just a big kid, but that revelation may take a while for someone less net savvy to come to.

I get that, I do, but it still comes down to: This lady picked a fight with a guy on twitter because she didn't like what he said, and then she spent a couple hours fighting with, insulting, reporting, and backpedaling from the same guy she started the fight with in the first place. Mind you, she was backpedaling away from a guy who she didn't like the things he said and just had to tell him he was wrong, because that always works on the internet and it never fails.

When I think of non-profit organizations I want to donate my time and money to, ones where the CEOs publicly make a spectacle of themselves aren't on the list.

It seems obvious to us but fact is a lot of people just don't get that, they use the internet for straight-laced stuff and when they come across something like Chris or Jace they don't know that it's useless to approach the situation the way you would in real life.

However this Jamie Walton is not doing herself any favors by arguing on twitter with someone who is clearly insane. If anything it makes her look petty and takes away from her advocacy of people who have been actually abused and raped. I can see her making one or two comments, but this continued arguing with Jace does not make a flattering presentation of Ms. Walton.
