While I'm busy with other tasks, I've been going through entire artist albums and archiving them since I've seen my favorite versions of songs be taken down, leaving me to tragically have versions of said songs stuck in my head to no avail. In the process I've rediscovered quite a few artists and songs I had forgotten about.
What are some artists you need to archive?
What old haunts have you rediscovered and what sort of nostalgia does it bring to you?
That's why I download all the music and I actually own it. Bandcamp is amazing for this. The things I can't find there or on junodownload, I get off Soulseek (Nicotine+).
The latest one I got from there was a vynil-exclusive release from a few years ago, UGONGETIT002, by LUZ1E, released on Lobster Theremin. It's not available for digital purchase anywhere, as far as I'm aware. I'll archive it here too :3 (would have shared as .flac but the site's filesystem doesn't recognize them, it's still lossless though)
