Of course I'll nominate myself. I'm a 2020 election twitter refugee who has gradually lost interest in the on-topic part of the site. Plus I usually phone post so I'd occasionally fatfinger and thread ban people for no reason. And I never get invited to the secret circlejerk dm groups. If I got drove off the site literally no one would notice and zero content would be lost.

It's pretty obvious the intentions of the crowd voting for HHH. You're not fooling anyone with the "it would be funny" gag.

From my experience HHH is a genuine stalker psychotic (see my profile) who uses the "I'm disrupting hugboxes" excuse to rile up threads against his rabid political views (and ensuring his own hugbox threads remain pure) only so that either an unsuspecting or sympathetic mod would lock them once they become a total mess. Case in point: If not for Null's help with the Covid Vaccine Info thread this would have happened, since due to misconceptions on a mod's part and HHH & friends working so obsessively to derail the thread they double-posted it fell to our doggo leader to set things straight.

In short, HHH is the kind of person who seems like he'd run gay ops across the site if given the chance, at least where his politics is concerned, and the more mods who are like him the faster this place will become SA 2.0. Or Reddit. But those who are like him would be cool with that because politics.

The whole "not moding for their team" aspect of the mod criteria is a bit lost on a lot of people I guess. Null's not retarded, though. He keeps certain people around because seeing others get upset in certain contexts is funny to him (see: that one CCP shill who expertly manages to rustle other peoples' jimmies for China's glory) but he won't mod someone who's just going to give him extra work. Kinda defeats the purpose of mods.

As for who I'd vote for: probably Flexo. Dude's funny, doesn't derail threads and he's got a kickass goatee.
