Official Teaser just dropped. Film is slated for a September 2019 release. Personally I liked this new adaptation a lot, what do you guys think?

Oh no, my one fear in life: geriatrics!

Seriously though - decent trailer. I enjoyed the last movie- probably will make the effort to see this one when it comes out.

Anyone else calling it on how they'll try to spin some Drumpfh horseshit into the part of the book with the gay bashing that woke up Pennywise?

They won’t, you fucking simp.

Ready to enjoy it.

But I’m also ready to laugh if it ends the way the book and old miniseries did.
That’s the thing, with King. He has far too many works that are fucking fantastic, up until the very end, which is garbage. Hopefully they’ll remedy this.

Sorry for double posting, frens.

Neither the original 90's TV movie or the 2017 one were perfect adaptations of the book. Unless you broke it down into some sort of non-linear TV series that's not possible. Also, as other people said, that ending has to change. It took me forever to finish that fucking book and the conclusion was infuriating.

That said, I really enjoyed the 2017 movie so this one has been on my "see in the theatre" list.
