My grandma says She read Somewhere that yoga is against christianity? Its considered a "thing of the devil" by diehard Christians? What the fuck is She on about?

Boomers seem to think that any sort of spiritual practice outside of going to church is demonic. They especially demonize Eastern spirituality because they don't know anything about it. You can be a Christian and do yoga. To say you can't is absolute retardation on the same level as "Pokemon is demonic". I'm pretty sure there were some historical Christian scholars who meditated, so idk why meditation/yoga is deemed "demonic". "Christian mysticism" is a whole genre of Christian mystical practices. I personally believe every major religion has bits of the full truth of reality to them, and a lot of what is in scripture is metaphorical.

I don't know a lot about it, but when I used to browse 4chan's /x/ board more, there was a reoccurring "Christian mysticism general" thread. I don't know if it's still active, but you could try looking there for it, if it is. Just wearing a cross necklace is technically wearing a protective "talisman", by definition.
