Is 'transformer' considered a slur?

The other day someone said something like 'trans 4', so I said 'haha trans 4, more like trans4mer'. Then they got mad and said I used a slur, I was just making a pun lol.

Is Transformer a slur for trans people? Googling it i didn't really see anyone saying so, but I see how it could be used as one.
