I personally love the stuff, its so versatile and its appropriate for any meal!


Back when I lived in Hawaii, you couldn't go anywhere without Spam being somewhere on the menu,
even McDonalds served it with rice on their Big Breakfast platters, so that's probably why I have such a soft spot for it.

I was sadly influenced by the anti spam propaganda but then a friend cooked some in a pan for me and I loved it.

It's one of the most stolen items from stores in Hawaii. Even 10+ years ago, stores had it locked up.

I remember serving Spam on a sizzling plate and then topped it with sliced onions, a dash of sauce made from Tabasco sauce & vinegar and some raw garlic on the side when there are friends who'd chill in the house if they wanted some food with their beer.
