Is there a reasonably priced webcam that can take decent still images?

Now you might be wondering, "hey fucknuts, why do you need a webcam for still images?" The short answer is, equipment teardown and repair. I want to mount it above a workbench, press a button on the computer to take a picture, and never have to think about it otherwise. I don't care about the mic at all and I barely care about video quality. I just want high quality still photos. That's it.

I'm looking to spend around $100-$150. I'm not expecting miracles for that price, good-enough-ish is perfectly fine. But I tried a couple more "conventional" digital cameras in that price range and they were all Chinesium garbage, so I thought, maybe webcam? And now I'm asking you assholes.

Logitech's "C930s Pro HD Webcam" doesn't look too bad. They also have the C922, and I personally use that for calls myself. Both support 1080p quality, and from the looks of it the C930s most likely has a better camera overall.

Both are well within your price range, C922 is $99 while the C930s is at $129.
Honestly, you may as well go onto Logitech's site yourself and sort their webcams by highest-lowest price. They have some good deals (again, all within price range) of their better cameras than the ones I just recommended. The StreamCam's specs look pretty fantastic, considering you only care about camera quality first and foremost.
