He's a trickster archetype. People love those when they're the underdog. I wish they'd stop cucking him (they literally have been doing this because the fat nobodies writing him now either got divorced or are Jewish incels who project onto him).

For us old, crumblig comics readers, NO. Peter Parker didn't organically shoot out webs. He MADE those web-shooters from his own fucking godamn scientific brilliance as a high school science whiz and that's THAT. Spiderman is a nerd so obviously he is a relateable character for geeks that read and watch comics.

Then he also gets the redhead and is almost completely socially isolated, so it's pretty much the trifecta. Yeah perfect nerd protagonist.
