Because I discovered that people hate my guts for it

I think it can be far more fun to say nothing irl, and just conspire and shit post against these kinds of people on the internet, which is also the best place to laugh at these morons as another part of their world burns down around them from their own self-inflicted idiocy.

The trick is to be a chameleon in my experience. Always strive to be the 3rd or 4th most "woke" in the room, not too much that it looks like overacting, not too little it draws attention.

"Not talking and arguing about politics with everyone you meet" isn't really what "apolitical" means, I don't think I person can be entirely without opinions on politics unless they've literally never interacted with society in their entire life.

When you hold political views like, "Gas the blue haired dykes" you should probably keep your mouth shut in public. And this might come off as apolitical.

On a serious note, people who have jobs and families to tend to aren't gonna spend their resting hours pushing for a political party. It's always these no life, no job, weirdos with too much free time who get into rallies and protests and stuff. They just like to bash normies who don't care so they can feel better about themselves.

Yeah, these people should definitely keep starting shit with absolutely everyone. That usually works out pretty good.

People get mad because they cannot handle different opinions simple as that. I said 300 LBs was obese not curvy when commenting on a meme that said otherwise, and these SJWs were so passive aggressive and acting like brats.

Some people hate others that aren’t like them.

@Heinrich Himmler you didn't reach your rank by being a 'chatty Cathy'. ;)
It can be advantageous to stay tight lipped about certain matters or in certain company. I'd say you have as much a right to keep your opinions to yourself as you do to voice them or have them.

Basically what other people have been saying.

If you acted the same way each time for each group of people you interact with in your personal and professional life (family, different groups of friends, coworkers, the general public), you'd probably be friendless, jobless, and only have a few family members left that you could depend on.

It may sound disingenuous, but it's usually in your best interest to keep quiet on certain things within certain groups of people, if for no other reason than to make your life easier in general.

I think most of our cows lack the ability to do this, which may partially be the reason they're cows.

man, not all politics is about oppression. one of the big deals where i'm from is that some people really want a dog park at this disused playground and the state rep doesn't want one. local politics is 90% petty bullshit.

If silence wasn't important, you wouldn't be able to stop talking. Sometimes it's the best thing you can do.

Although, I will say: if you're in a position where you can start some shit, if you have the upper hand, make like a pervert on a pedestrian's ass. Go for it.

I love how ass-backwards this is. "Being apolitical is a privilege"? Single mothers working two jobs are sure privileged over people who can spend their afternoons protesting Trump and tweeting about oppression.

Being obsessed with identity politics is a privilege. Ever notice how its really only these college educated daddy's money types who didn't have to work themselves to a degree and just coasted through campus life that tend to be like this? That can't tolerate other opinions?

Yeah, there's poor people that get radicalized into certain ideologies, but ever notice that the loudest ones or the leaders are super privileged and wealthy? Where the poor are the footsoldiers? That's like every extreme group. ANTIFA/BAMN, Religious Fundies (flavors including Christians, Muslims, Jews, etc), Nazis/Alt-Right (think Ricky Dick Spencer and his trust fund), they're all similar in pattern.
