is it worth paying $5 extra for crab legs at a Chinese buffet?

Depends on the place? there's lot's of ways restaurants game you out of extra adds at buffets, you gotta go at least once to figure it out though.
Places I've not frequented more than once don't stock the add-ons regularly, so if you weren't there in time you blew it.
A good place will know how to balance value out with cheap expenditures, like adding a lot of rice to certain dishes to trap the mongoloids.

Do it but only if there is not an Asian family or a group of black people. Every Chinese or Japanese buffet I've been to, Asian families and black people will beeline to the crab legs, clams, and shrimp and take the whole fucking tray on one plate. Leaving you spending extra money on some shit you won't even get to eat.
I swear there's like at least one news story a year about Chinese grandmas going to buffets in other countries and getting into a riot over crab legs.

The hilarious part is that its at best shitty snow legs and not king legs you'd actually want. Fuck all that price and work for bland cheeds of shmeat.

Yep, Asians know seafood is expensive and want to get the money worth. No point in going to AYCE if you aren't actively trying to bankrupt them lol

i wouldn't. they're always so fucking salty and you can feel the gout starting by the second crab.

No, low quality seafood is not worth it.

you are going there to eat the cheap fried crap...
