My family has an orange cat. He's a big, goofy fuck, but he can be pretty smart at times. We have this container filled with about 20 or so cat toys and one time I watched him as he looked through these toys, pulled a few out and set them to the side, and then found one that he liked and started playing with it. I thought that was pretty smart.

Earlier today, I saw an orange cat at an intersection, dodging cars and clearly afraid for its life. I was really upset so I turned back, pulled over, and tried walking towards the intersection. But it was raining and people kept stopping to see if I needed help, and I didn't see the cat. So I went home. And I cried the whole way. I can't get the image out of my head... I really really hope the poor kitty is okay
