Most of the cows on this site are grifters in one way or another, just saying or doing edgy shit so people will throw money at them. To the uninformed you look at people like Hyde, Fuentes, Josh and Candace Owens and look at all the retarded viewpoints they spit out daily and say "holy shit these people are retards."
But then you see they make thousands per week from simps throwing money in superchats just for saying something edgy or contrarion, and at that point my line of thinking changes to "holy shit these people are geniuses".
All you have to do is sit in front of a camera, throw some knickknacks in the background and go against whatever the popular thing of the day is in a moderately entertaining way. And somebody somewhere will throw money at you.
Because of the impact some of these people have on wider society, spitting out these dumb views day after day probably has an effect on people. But is that a sign of how dangerous the grifter is or how stupid the people throwing money at them are? Have these people just found an easy way to get rich quick without actually trying?

By the classic definition, yes absolutely. I point to India, China and every other third world shithole where "grifting" blames the victims and more or less absolves (which is actually a reward, since they get to keep their ill gotten goods) those who do it.

Its incredibly toxic to a society and is a major factor in why those third world shitholes are still third world shitholes.
