America has fundamentally changed very little since 2012. Nothing ever happens, nothing has happened and nothing will happen (at least, there's very very little to suggest it'll change dramatically)
It's all just the same endless circlejerk about the same elite lobbies and politicians and gibs for Israel and whatever bullshit they convince us is important while nothing actually improves on the ground.
Trump winning again won't change this. There won't be FDR-tier social revolution under him, and it'll continue as the same grift as it were before. Faith in bureaucracy is absolutely nothing at this point, and those who dare to speak out have no real solutions other than more money for Israel or for tech (see Vivek, Musk, etc.)
Even across the pond, at the supposed fail states of the EU and UK, the political situation at least has the option of being promising. People actually look forward to elections, money in politics is capped and organic change at least seems possible at the surface.
Nothing changes in the US, unless there's money behind it. Is America beyond saving with that being said?
If you're going to circlejerk about the God Emperor and his "promises" go to the US Politics thread, this is for serious discussion

America has fundamentally changed very little since 2012.
I don't really agree.
So many more people have become more familiar with the ideas of liberty.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have made it possible to circumvent the banking system and financial authorities.
3D printing has made it feasible for ordinary people to manufacture unregistered firearms.
Just to name a few examples

All I know is most people are always wrong about the future and I have been hearing almost all my life the US is lost. I don't think their is any merit to trying to say weather it is lost or not. I choose to be hopeful because I want good things to happen.

I just find it funny how everyone is so quick to give up so easily. Is it really so hard to face a difficult situation that people want to just lay down and die instead?

You may be right, or you might be wrong and I might be correct. All I want to say is wait and see, be patient and stay hopeful. The future belongs to those who don't give up.

Coming from a zoomer, this time in history is no different from any other time in history, in fact it is so much better in many ways. Think back to the previous century, a century of great turmoil. There was the Cold War, with the ever-present threat of nuclear war, the horrible Vietnam War that was worse than any current war, cultural upheaval with the Civil Rights stuff, important people getting assassinated left and right, etc. And before that of course was the World Wars and the Great Depression which were objectively worse than what we are going through now. We modern people are fortunate we don't have to wait in bread lines or die in trenches. We have so many privileges people in the past can only dream of, and we just take that shit for granted and complain that we don't have more.
Even if you still think it's all doom and gloom, that's just the way it is. No amount of whining and bitching about it will change things. The only thing that reliably changes things are your own actions. All you can do is adapt to the current situation, which is what humans have been doing all through history, no matter if you were born a farmer in Ancient Mesopotamia or were a French soldier in World War I.
Instead of being a Negative Nancy, I choose to be a Positive Pauly.

As long as the niggercattle keep buying into the performative "suit with your best interests in mind" lie that has worked for decades, then yes it is

it’s a cliche but try 2001 with 9/11. The only two things that have changed since then is the amount of poverty, and smartphones.

Even so, America is still the one-eyed man in the land of the blind compared to other nations.

Exactly, would you rather be in a large spacious country with easy access to guns, or would you rather be in a much smaller country with no weapons and a government that is all too happy to lock you away for posting anything anti-globohomo online.

America is in a bad state but it has the best chance of survival.

Besides, there is also the chance that a few states can break off, wall up, and keep the torch lit.
