It seems like most anime that try this sort of sequel have this exact problem except Jojo.
It helps that several times the new Jojo being followed isn't always a direct continuation but a grandson twice, a bastard child not raised by the same family, in Vento Aureo a character who was of Joestar descent due to story shenanigans. There's enough difference to each character rather than just being the dollar store knock-off of the previous protagonist.

>going autistic over ships is retarded
>getting upset over ships is not retarded

I am assuming by 'going autistic' you mean Steven Universe fanbase levels of retardation, if not you need to explain further.

I said it was retarded to get upset over ships that haven't been confirmed yet. If it gets confirmed tomorrow and people want to have a meltdown over child grooming they can go ahead and do that if they want to. I think it is a waste of energy. Your time can be better spent doing just about anything else.

And now you know the worst part of playing a Fire Emblem game.

*Whoops, someone merge these*

Well everybody, the first episode airs in 17 hours from now! I think we're all keeping our expectations low on this. This isn't even made by Rumiko Takahashi, I'm going into this open minded because I fucking love Inuyasha but worst case scenario, we can say this isn't canon and forget about this. Still exited though!

LETS GOOOOOOOOOO, Honestly I haven't watched anything past episode 1 so I guess I can catch up the old fashioned way through toonami if they decide to pick yashahime up.

I really like this show so far, it's fun and focused on its goals while giving little tidbits of mystery regarding what's happened in the past several years. I like the new characters, Towa feels balanced as a knightly-but-still-goofy protagonist, and Moroha is based I love her. Setsuna isn't my favorite character type but I'm still interested in her arc.

Admittedly I was taken out of the episode (I believe it was 2 or 3) when Moroha was used as an exposition talking head in the background of a fight, but at least it didn't stop the action. I appreciate that, this show doesn't seem to stall on unimportant things and finds ways to shove exposition dumps into ongoing plot.

Which Kira?

I'm enjoying it as well. Combination of the mystery element with the hope that we get to see the old cast interact with their kids/relatives. Already had episode 1 be essentially an Inuyasha episode with the old characters, and little hints peppered here and there of them being around. There is a clear goal to work towards it seems, so that's good. It's something to relax and watch weekly.

While Setsuna is really the least interesting of the cast, I like that she tries to play the aloof badass like her father, but keep slipping. Also Moroha is just awesome, especially in her Beniyasha form.

I just listened to a snippet of the dub. Miroku does indeed sound ill unfortunately. I had to turn it off it was stress inducing.
I do not think I would be able to watch the dub unless they get someone from Ocean Group to take over. Preferably one of his friends. To keep the adults OG and the new cast the American voices.
