Whoops, I've already posted a few times and I didn't notice this thread. Anyways, I've been a lurker for quite some time, and I decided to join because I wanted to discuss lolcows with everyone here.

Might as well introduce myself. Hello everyone. I found my way here when I got bored one day and wondered what Chris has been up to. Decided to stick around for the lulz and observe the social dynamics of the insane and the people who follow them.
 
Hello everyone! I only discovered Chris, the CWCki, and everything else a few weeks ago. I spent hours pouring over the Wiki pages, being fascinated and laughing hysterically at some of it. I have to say, in general I am very impressed with this community. The dedication to the meticulous archiving and detective work on the Wiki pages made it fairly easy for me to catch up (although the line between reality and the troll stories blurred at times, confusing for a newcomer).

I am glad to hear that the community has given up trolling for the most part and is content to observe and discuss. I say this because it has become clear to me, being a newcomer and seeing the gradual changes in Chris all at once, that all of the constant and often surprisingly cruel punishment over the years has really taken a toll on him.

Relatively new to the CChan story, but I cannot help but be utterly fascinated by the guy. At first glance he seems a complete waste of skin and air. An autistic, redneck-raised creepy, smelly egomaniac who reminds you of the worst people you went to school with. Yet through a combination of childish optimism and trollish manipulation he has provided the world with more insight into the mind of an autistic outsider then probably anyone outside of a psychiatric department.

What can I say? The comics are shit, but the story it tells (along with every post he makes) is mesmerizing. And now that it looks like a whole new saga is beginning with the return of the 'Male Lesbian' CChan to the Youtubes, I want to be an active observing part of this one.

It looks like this is a community of both insightful posters and a solid chunk of weens and trolls to keep things well spiced. I think I am gonna like it here!

I too am new to this and agree that it is strangely fascinating. I dunno about you but I sat there and read the forums for quite awhile, surprised at how detailed and fantastical this story gets. Waste of space I think he isn't, but I'm not sure exactly what he is.
