Played around a little, was going to make a comic but this seems way too chaotic to do something that consistent.

Weird. Looks like something straight out of Temple Os. Makes me wish there was a model out there that could generate art in Temple Os style; looking like it came from Terry's hand himself. what program did you use?

I'm pretty sure I just used Dall-E in NightCafe. You just have to fuck around and evolve the keywords from a previous image, that's when you start getting the wackier stuff

Necro'ing the thread because I made this animation specifically for it.
I've found that ai is really useful for creating cartoon backgrounds. The background seen here is actually four separate images that I synthesized, and then cut and paste together. I intended to create a background
that looks completely "fake", as opposed to trying to replicate any kind of real cohesive design.
Potentially, this could be useful in cutting down on the time it takes to set up animation, or allow for more focus on stuff like frame-by-frame character movement. However, one of the big drawbacks is not being able to set the "camera", i.e. setting up how I want the shot to look. Say I want a building to be seen from a certain angle, as I have an idea of how I want it to look in my head. The problem with the ai is that it merely gives me approximations of what I want, so the building that is synthesized isn't positioned in the exact way that I intended. But hey, maybe there will be updates in the future that will include entire 3d "sets", that I can then position the "camera" at whatever angle and view that I desire, and then draw the character over it.
