First comes the increase in prices in everything, then NPCs bitching that everything costs so much without realizing why, they'll demand a higher minimum wage while complaining to the government that this is current year and "why aren't we using a command economy controlled by an AI like the future in 80s movies? Prices are obsolete and prohibitively colonialist."

You often have to use an older dictionary to get the truth about Inflation. Much like other aspects of Western culture and life, the definition of Inflation has been obfuscated over the years. Intentionally of course, to keep the Plebs away from the truth of how badly they are getting fucked by daddy gubmint and his Bankerberg friends. Most modern dictionaries will describe Inflation as the negative consequences of counterfeiting the currency printing "money", but that isn't true. Inflation IS the "money" printing itself, the currency is being inflated. The creation of that extra credit is what fucks the system makes "prices" go up for everything, but plebs want those quick and easy handouts. Fiat currency will always return to its intrinsic value - which is Nothing.

Incorrect, fiat currency is backed by the products it can be used to purchase, which is why we call it the petrodollar, because it's the vector we use for trading oil, which is what in turn gives it value.

The modern American Petro-Dollar, unbacked by Gold, backed by nothing, worth nothing... has only been sustained by a Threat of Force from the current military ruler of the world, the crumbling Banana Republic of Americanda. That time is coming to an end, China's time has arrived, the Globalists clearly want it. Use your worthless paper to purchase REAL appreciating physical assets, before the game comes crashing down because too many plebs realize that fact.

I mean, if it sustained money for a time, then the grift worked and it worked by the petrodollar system creating the big cloud of bullshit needed for America to in theory still be rich after the sole industrial nation after WWII stopped being the sole industrial nation. Nowadays though, that is coming to an end and anyone thinking we're going to be colonizing Mars or the late 80s Star Trek utopianism is coming by some made up singularity of technology is a fool. I understand why they are a fool, but they still are a fool.

America is going through a rough patch monetarily, I thought Null was just being hyperbolic on his Mad at the Internet about moving the server but maybe this is the one that actually knocks reality back into the system?

Petrodollar is significant. But it is also backed by the fact you must pay US taxes in it. Those are the two biggest things that back it. One of the things that delighted me in the John Wick films is the use of those gold coins as some kind of parallel currency used by those in the know. It's like they're saying the money ordinary people use is a shared fiction and there's this shadow society existing within that never left gold. Of course this society kills and manipulates the public world. Pretty believable if you ask me.

I have two questions. Question one: OP - what is that ungodly fusion of June Laplace and Horus you have as an avatar? I thought - that looks like Shoe0nhead and then I saw your bio and it was. How and what? I wont ask the why because I suspect the answer would drive me mad. Question two: Why does China's money supply do that?

People these days are very greedy and completely willing to push things off onto the next generation. The economy is going to be pushed to its limit until things finally crash and someone has to pay the price for it. 2020 certainly didn't help and is going to accelerate things that were already looking pretty bad.

Well..... That is not good. GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER.
I mean, we even get a canary-in-the-coalmine to our north. 79.8% of all Canadian Dollars in their market today were printed in 2020 too. That is the beginning of a death-spiral if they try to keep this going, meanwhile they think the ability to print money means that Canada will always be able to pay its bills, it can never go broke, or default on its debt, no matter how deep into the red it goes.

If they go, you should have already moved your money away from USDs but at least the worse can still be avoided. Maybe though, we can just let everyone know that their money is just monopoly money from a playset and everything will be fine? Just rub it in clearly that the US Dollar is worthless and watch the economic miracle happen?
