Indiana Jones vs Star Wars

Star wars has me more engaged and excited, but I have more fun with Indy. Overall, they offer very different flavors that lead to the same levels of satisfaction.
 
I like both indiana jones 1-4 and the six lucas made star wars movies. Prequels are notoriously not as good as OT but there's still clear autistic levels of passion in them. Anything post disney lucasfilm is raw sewage shot dead before it had a chance to be good.

Indiana jones in current year eternal is only better than star wars in the sense it hasn't been fucked over throught he span of an entire new trilogy and streaming service fodder galore with ass retcons everywhere. it's limited to just one very very stinky movie and a mid VR xbox game. That is if you don't count crystal skull which people tend to find good till the cgi monkeys and aliens show up.
 
Star wars. Before disney bought it it was just a fun magical universe that you could dig into via novels, comics and games. Indiana Jones is great too but it doesnt have the great expanded universe that star wars had.
 
Mid vs mid? I'll say I prefer Star Wars ever-so-slightly, but mainly because I was a kid growing up with it, whereas Indiana Jones was pretty much dead aside from a couple similarly mid/bad games.
 
Star Wars. Not even a question to me, really. One is much cooler than the other.
