In most cases I would argue that it less people being "tricked" into bad relationships and thus conveniently avoiding accountability for their bad decisions, but it is rather dysfunction seeking dysfunction (combined with other factors such as denial, sunk cost etc.) which is equally true for both men and women. If you're a retard and a fuckup, chances are you'll end up with someone who either wants to take you for a ride or has completely lost their marbles as much as you.

One of the things incels need to realise is that while being alone sucks, being in no relationship is always preferable to being in a bad one.

I believe this is the mechanism federal agencies use to articulate jurisdiction and get a warrant or grand jury indictment.

AFAIK barring any special circumstances, attempted murder in and of itself would be a state-level charge.

I do think the ones who are manipulative start this way. Ie they fake it till they make it. However, as @Fougaro says it often falls apart because of dysfunction, not necessarily by choice. Happens a lot to young people who think they found true love.

I think a lot of times the relationship isn’t started with the intention of the guy bailing. It’s like you say, they’re dysfunctional so they find each other and it falls apart.

I know a young woman recently who ran off with a crazy dude because “fuck you dad!” Her dad is a nice guy but he’s very controlling.. if I was his child I’d be rebellious too. I feel bad for them because I can see their breakup coming 2-5+ years down the road even though she just got pregnant. I’d be surprised if it didn’t fall apart because the dude she ran off with is a bit of a minor cow on social media, not enough to warrant a thread, who breaks down emotionally when faced with the slightest bit of opposition or teasing. What people forget is that often the deadliest threat to a human is another human being. It’s part of the reason we behave so tribally. In a weird way they can blame proto-incels for patrolling all the women that would’ve given them a chance.

Hence an average women is more socially conscious than the average man. Likewise, it’d explain why women are less likely to be autistic and when they are, it manifests differently. Being able to find the right guy is a lot more important for a woman’s survival way back when than the other way around.

Hookups also may be beneficial for dudes evolutionary wise but it could literally be life or death for women. Today we have birth control and modern medicine, so messing around is less likely to result in death. So it shouldn’t be surprising that men on average are a lot more likely to be interested in casual sex than the other way around.
