If we live in a simulation, could there be "cheat codes" to reality?

Even the earliest video games had "good bad bugs", cheat codes, and "cheating devices" that allowed people to breeze their way through them. Even now, we still have those, with the added tool of modding software to change video games in any way we want.

If the universe is just a simulation, could there be something analogous to "good bad bugs", cheat codes, "cheating devices", and modding software for it?

Let's assume that there are cheat codes for a second.
Now that we've assumed that, let's settle back into reality and realize that we can never be able to exploit them.
