US Idaho quietly shut down a resource website and no one noticed

First off, this is a good thing, not a bad thing. We sometimes question the motives of our government, especially when they dispose of information or resources.

Most of the time, it's just a bad look.

Not this one though! This is good news...

Some might call it the end of an era, others might simply think of it as a relief - the end of COVID-19.

This should come as no surprise to any of us being that things are essentially back to "normal." But, what we found interesting is how the state of Idaho quietly abandoned its primary resource site tracking the virus... and no one seemed to notice.

Now, there might be some conspiracy theorists out there who think there's something else going on and that the government might be hiding something.

They're not.

Those who still want to keep track of the COVID-19 stats and numbers in Idaho can check out COVID-19 data along with other diseases here at Get Healthy Idaho.

Why shut down the primary resource website?

According to Get Healthy Idaho, the reason is fairly simple - they projected COVID-19's end in May of last year and there's simply no need to prioritize it anymore.

"The Division of Public Health will continue to review and publish COVID-19 data from several sources, including deaths, hospitalizations, and emergency department visits," Get Healthy Idaho says on its website.

"Data for this dashboard will be updated on the 15th of every month by 5:00 PM MT, excluding weekends and holidays."

What we find to be the biggest bummer is how we didn't really acknowledge "the end" of COVID-19... where's the celebration like at the end of pretty much every apocalyptic movie? Where's the party that we beat the pandemic?

All kidding aside, we're grateful there's no need for a primary resource site for something like COVID-19. Hopefully, we'll never run into a situation where we need a dedicated site like that again.

So they moved the data on the old site to another site? Sounds like they just didn't want to pay for whatever domain they had that website on anymore.

The Idaho Government doesn't want you to realize the potato they plugged the site into to power it ran out of energy, and all of their potatoes remaining in reserve are duds.

They continue to keep the appearance of normalcy with their dwindling supply of "Super Spuds" from the Boise Experiments in the 50s to buy time while researching a starchy solution, but the cracks are truly starting to show. It's a looming crisis for the entire state with massive implications.

Don't fall for this shameless coverup- THINK!

The Biden Harris administration declared that the COVID crisis is over.

Hey, if you want the website backup Biden is free to call for another two week shutdown to flatten the curve, mask mandates, compulsory vaccines, and vaccine papers checks to enter public spaces.

Please, do so. Kamala should be appointed COVID Czar and implement all these wonderful policies.

How many people actually use government resources and website? I'm asking honestly.
In my experience 5 minutes with a librarian is worth more than 10 years of the government making "online resources".
