Rexburg Police

Idaho police “strongly believe” siblings missing since October are in danger—and blasted the children’s mother and stepfather for refusing to cooperate in the investigation.
The blistering statement this week from Rexburg police is the latest twist in the bizarre mystery swirling around Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell—who married after their previous spouses’ suspicious deaths.

Lori’s 17-year-old daughter Tylee Ryan and her adopted 7-year-old son Joshua “J.J.” Vallow have not been seen for two months—and police said the couple told disturbing lies about the children.

“It is astonishing that rather than work with law enforcement to help us locate her own children, Lori Vallow has chosen instead to leave the state with her new husband,” police said in a statement.

“We publicly call on Lori Vallow/Daybell and Chad Daybell to do the right thing and come forward with the information they have about the location and welfare of Joshua and Tylee. This entire investigation could have been avoided if Lori and Chad had simply been honest with law enforcement.”

Daybell is the author of a series of books aimed at a Mormon audience that focus on near-death experiences and doomsday themes, and he and Vallow were both contributors to an organization that dabbled in the same.

Until last year, Vallow had been happily married to Charles Vallow and “a wonderful, loving, attentive mother” to J.J., who has autism, Charles’ sister, Kay Vallow Woodcock, wrote on Facebook.

“Things started changing over the past 18+ months when Lori began spending all her time with a new religious group, that we refer to as a ‘cult,’” Woodcock wrote. “She eventually deserted my brother & JJ for 2.5 months early this year. Charles did his best to save the marriage, of which she had no interest.”

Then, on July 11, Charles Vallow, was fatally shot by Lori’s brother, Alexander Cox, during a domestic disturbance that remains under investigation. Cox died on Dec. 12 of unknown causes. The only other two witnesses were the kids, Woodcock said.

Three months after Charles Vallow was killed, on Oct. 19, Daybell’s wife, Tammy, died at home at the age of 49. Daybell refused to order an autopsy on his wife, and the coroner listed the cause of death as “natural,” but authorities have since exhumed her body for further testing.

Vallow and Daybell got hitched weeks after Tammy’s death. According to police, the couple told witnesses that Tylee had died a year earlier, and Chad told someone Lori had no children.

When relatives asked police to check on the children, Daybell allegedly told officers they were with relatives in Arizona, which turned out to be untrue.

“We strongly believe that Joshua and Tylee’s lives are in danger,” Rexburg police said.

“We know that the children are not with Lori and Chad Daybell and we also have information indicating that Lori knows either the location of the children or what has happened to them. Despite having this knowledge, she has refused to work with law enforcement to help us resolve this matter.”

Last week, an attorney hired by the couple said they had done nothing wrong.

“Chad Daybell was a loving husband and has the support of his children in this matter. Lori (Vallow) Daybell is a devoted mother and resents assertions to the contrary. We look forward to addressing the allegations once they have moved beyond speculation and rumor,” lawyer Sean Bartholick said in a statement.

Rexburg police noted that they had been questioned about why charges have not been filed.

“Our primary concern at this point is simply locating Joshua and Tylee and charging decisions will be made in due course based upon the evidence available,” they said. “If we find that harm was done to these children within our jurisdiction, we will prosecute whoever caused that harm.”

I think it's more likely the dude that sung, this bitch is on some Dana Cain, I'm an oracle and goddess shit except worse as this bitch actually believes it.

I didn't find out till today that the search warrant was sealed so I'm not sure how firmly I stand by my previous statement. Does anybody know the exact timeline of events? Did they arrest Chad and serve the warrant at the same time or did they arrest him and not long after they served the warrant? A case this serious, they probably had a nearly completed warrant sitting around waiting on something fresh to finish it up and a judge would allow that shit no matter the time of day instantly so long as it wasn't ultra shakey.

Here's some info about the warrant and the arrest

So they got to the farm around 7am, arrested him at about 1130 am, and charged/booked him with destruction of evidence at 521pm.

Judging by the firepit they were combing over I think they were burnt and buried quite close together.

I wonder if the grandparents on her side knew. Not saying they did but you never know especially considering her batshit family history

The mother and sister both defended her recently on TV. Basically saying she would never hurt her kids. It’s either denial or they’re all batshit crazy.

Damn I feel so sorry for the kids. I really hope it was quick and they didn’t realize what was happening.

No way do I believe Alex Cox died of "natural causes." Also, Lori's niece Melani Pawlowski is a fucking piece of work. She is trash for defending her aunt.

Also, Ian Pawlowski is a cuck and I'm glad that it seems like all the children involved (besides JJ and Tylee) are in custody with their other parents who weren't in this doomsday cult. Well, I mean, just the general LDS cult and not this shitstorm sect.

Yeah, I think we may see Chad's deceased wife Tammi and Lori's 5th(!) husband Charles added to the forthcoming murder charges in due course.

No surprise to me at this point that the kids were dead. i'm more suprised that after thge length of time of their disappearance and Lori sitting in jail when just producing them would have sprung her, that anyone believed they would still be alive.

Also, here is a court document filed by Brandon Boudreaux, Melani Pawlowski's ex husband, acquired from Ian Pawlowski, her current husband. It's like fucking Bible D&D. It's almost like Ian had a moment of clarity but then "A 20-year veteran FBI agent" threw a "hissy fit" and he decided his wife defending her Auntie Kills-her-own-kids was more important than realizing all this is batshit insane. It's a miracle Melani's kids aren't dead too, since Lori and Chad called them zombies, too.

Let's hope this scores them both a lethal injection.
I said back in March in this thread the kids have been killed and it's heartbreaking to have been right.
Tbh, this whole thing could have been avoided when involuntary institutionalization would still be a thing.
These people need to be taken of the streets, on way or the other.
It's surprising they didn't dispose of the bodies at all, they had months. All they had to do was find a secluded abandoned property outside of town.
I would assume they either were to confident and thought they'll get away with it anyways or they couldn't because the cops had eyes on them 24/7.
No way do I believe Alex Cox died of "natural causes."
Normally in such cases the cops look into other deaths which have deemed unrelated in the past. If I would be the Idaho cops I would take a closer look because (based the information available from the media) his death looks suspicious, at least under the given circumstances. It might have been a tie up the loose ends thing.
IMHO, right now we could look at four murder cases: Charles Vallow, Alex Cox and the two kids.
If I would be them I also would take a closer look into suicides and unsolved murder cases in the County (if there are any), just to be sure this is not a bigger thing.

Five, if you count Daybells' previous wife.

Yeah, I forgot her, apologies. TBh, I think it really could be that the cops are barely scraping the Iceberg right now.
IMHO this could easily devolve into a serial killing thing. How many of her 5 ex-husbands are still alive by the way? One was shot by Cox but what about the others?

Thirst and/or Mormon gullibility is truly a powerful thing.

No shit! Doesn’t Lori believe herself to be a ‘translated’ being? Perhaps she can just teleport out of prison according to their guide, here.

You know, Jack Chick TOLD us D&D was evil and made you go crazy. And we didn’t believe him.

Fuck, they were just kids, they didn't deserve this. Lori is evil incarnate. Seeing her smug ass in the courtroom, she needs a 45 caliber aspirin.
The pure contempt on her face she has for the court and the law are really obvious in every courtroom photo. It’s obvious she was off in Hawaii having a good ol’ time with the new husband and this case and for that matter her kids were just ruining her fun.

Documents: Cellphone pings helped find children’s bodies
https://apnews.com/fdb07dc0ecebc8c6cea905641968362e (https://archive.vn/6KVI6)

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities used cellphone information from the now-deceased uncle of two missing Idaho children to find the youths’ bodies on a rural property earlier this month, according to court documents.

Police found the remains of 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and her brother, 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow, on June 9 after months of searching. They hadn’t been seen since September and investigators said the children’s mother Lori Vallow Daybell and her husband Chad Daybell lied to police about the children’s whereabouts.

KBOI reported that court documents made public late Friday reveal that the FBI tracked the cellphone of Alex Cox, Vallow’s brother and JJ and Tylee’s uncle.

The FBI tracked Cox’s cellphone on Daybell’s property four times during the month of September. According to court documents, Cox’s phone pinged on Sept. 6, 9, 23 and 25 at the location where the remains were found.

Neighbors also confirmed they saw fires on the property around Sept. 6 and 9, which they said was unusual because a fire pit on the property was hardly used, according to court documents.

Chad Daybell has pleaded not guilty to destroying evidence. Lori Daybell has been in jail since February, charged with child abandonment and obstructing the investigation. Both Daybells are being held on $1 million bond, and both are scheduled for preliminary hearings next month.

The complex case spans several states and began when Lori Daybell’s brother shot and killied her estranged husband, Charles Vallow, in suburban Phoenix last summer in what he asserted was self-defense. Vallow was seeking a divorce, saying Lori believed she had become a god-like figure who was responsible for ushering in the biblical end times.

Her brother, Alex Cox, then died in December of an apparent blood clot in his lung.

Shortly after Vallow’s death, Lori and the children moved to Idaho, where Chad Daybell lived. He ran a small publishing company, putting out fiction books he wrote about apocalyptic scenarios loosely based on the theology of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He also recorded podcasts about preparing for biblical end times, and friends said he claimed to be able to receive visions from “beyond the veil.”

He was married to Tammy Daybell, who died in her sleep last October of what her obituary said were natural causes. Authorities grew suspicious when Chad Daybell married Lori just two weeks later.

They had Tammy Daybell’s body exhumed in December. The results of that autopsy have not been released.

Poor children, murdered by the ones that are supposed to love you and take care of you.

This makes my heart hurt, I need to go hug my kids.

It sounds like Lori's brother was her henchman. Kills the ex, disposes and perhaps killed the kids and then was killed himself (?) to shut him up. Damn...
