81 years ago the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, killing thousands of Americans, military and civilians. They started it, we finished it.

Fundementally disagree, there is no written evidence to support such a conclusion, theres a good book called Hell to Pay that goes into detail about the governmental discussions about the invasion and projected casualties both American and Japanese.
 
Honestly the Americans should've known not to build a base there. There's literally a phrase about "getting Pearl Harboured." Pretty dumb if you ask me.

The US caused it by pursuing an immense oil embargo, leaving the Japs no recourse but to strike to not run out of the precious wartime raw material. The US also could not achieve popular sentiment to enter the war without a provocateur cuz Americans dgaf about whats happening in Europe despite all the reports of 6 gorillion jews getting turned into bath salts.
So the US let it happen on purpose to get America engaged in another brothers war.

It was definitely a great day for the people of China, the shit Japan was doing to that country and its people is unbelievably evil. The US provided a lot of aid to China during the war and of course fought our way with the Allies to Japan and ended that nightmare.

I think the Chinese attitude is definitely that two nukes weren't enough.

Popular sentiment was for cutting off oil and metal exports to Japan though. Americans got really turned off Japan by the endless shit Japan was doing to China. Japan caused it by being ruthless savage imperialists, we were under no obligation to supply the raw materials for their China adventures

The Chinese were at their apex under the benevolent leadership of the Imperial Japanese, and Nobusuke Kishi was the greatest leader China ever had.

That is, because the Japanese buck broke them and permanently shattered the delusion that Chinamen have that their pissant shithole is the "middle kingdom".
