The trailer for Amy Schumer's new movie was released on Thursday, and I wouldn't be surprised if the pitch was, "What if Shallow Hal was told from the woman's perspective?" because that was the first thing I thought of after seeing it.

IMDb dijo:
A woman struggling with insecurity wakes from a fall believing she is the most beautiful and capable woman on the planet. Her new confidence empowers her to live fearlessly, but what happens when she realizes her appearance never changed?

For comparison, here's a trailer for Shallow Hal.

IMDb dijo:
Following the advice of his dying father, Hal dates only women who are physically beautiful. One day, however, he runs into self-help guru Tony Robbins, who hypnotizes him into recognizing only the inner beauty of women. Hal thereafter meets Rosemary, a largely obese woman whom only he can see as a vision of loveliness. But will their relationship survive when Hal's equally shallow friend undoes the hypnosis?

A movie starring a fat pig who wears a latex suit. Yeah, not gonna watch.

Isn't that exactly what those hamplanets do already?

Shallow Hal was nauseating because they tried to heavy-handedly (pun intended) virtue signal and force down this narrative of "it's what inside that counts, not what's outside," while ironically and hypocritically all of the "comedy" in the movie is in the form of fat jokes.

The only people who could enjoy such a thing are morons who don't even realize this contradiction, because there's something in it to annoy everyone.

Women were a mistake. (:_(

I guess studios have not yet learned that putting Amy Schumer in a film is a bigger financial loss than electing a democratic president.
I bet this movie was inspired by OPL's life.:tomgirl:
Miss Piggy is actually funny, too.
She's also a lot more likely to get a man's hand shoved up her ass than Amy Schumer.:tomgirl:

She also evolved naturally into a feminist icon while Amy Schumer was a "feminist icon" made in a marketing department then shoved in our face.
