I like wearing hats and hats like being worn by me! I have never talked with a hat though, because hats don't talk.

I wish I had a talking hat like in Harry Potter, the hat would be my friend. If I knew magic then I would give my hats the ability to talk.

I you'd like to talk to a hat then I don't think minor trifles such as it not replying should stop you. I mean, people talk to God all the time and he rarely ever responds (busy playing Hearthstone I'm sure), so I think we can cut some slack to our scalp-warming friends for being such tacit conversationalists.

As for magic talking hat, I think this might pique your interest:

This one won't talk back either, but at least it tastes better than your average headwear.
