Would attempting to access Kiwifarms (And thus reading that page) not allow the Stasi to still find an users' IP? Does this actually meaningfully solve the issue?
I would think that if they're going full-retard then mere intent to access the site would be taken as justification for prosecution just as readily as actually being able to access the site.

The issue is not so much the fact that these people are accessing Kiwi Farms in the first place but rather the German/Austrian government going after the personal information of posters suspected to be in either of those countries, forcing the usage of a VPN protects those users
