Anyone wanting to be charitable and needing a project to focus on could consider the areas Helene destroyed.
Feeding America is a good place to donate that helps a large area of the US.

Heads need to fucking roll over this shit. Important agencies need not just a top to bottom cleaning (that's cleaning not necessarily wiping) but then a full rebuilding. Cons need to drop the insane libertardian shit and start learning to fix, no just defund.

Things are still bad.
I keep thinking, there are going to be so many folks hurting soon. Emotionally, I mean.
So many lost everything. Homes, belongings, animals, family.
It is the Holidays.
Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah, New Year's.
All of that with people missing, buildings destroyed, lives in chaos.
They will need kindness and peace and hope.

What I've heard from various sources including Appalacia's Homestead With Patara, Deep River Farm on YouTube etc, things are bad but the American people (not government) are showing up and helping.
It's reached the point now where a lot of the churches and charities are needing money to maintain things and to better fill in the gaps with specific needs.
If anyone wants something to be mad about though, the Amish sent a bunch of sheds to be used as shelter for people who are having to live in tents otherwise (in the mountains, in November) but the authorities got wind of it.
tl;dr - Code violation! Potential fire hazard! Go sleep in the mud and snow, losers!
